Hi I'm Cheryl
Education Consultant & Teacher Well-being and Professional Development Coach
Welcome to my corner of education transformation! I’m Cheryl, an accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience in various educational roles, including as a school administrator, vice principal, and teacher. I've studied education my whole life and have had the privilege of working with many individuals, schools and institutions. My career is marked by achievements in understanding how learning works, improving teaching practices and processes, leading impactful development initiatives, and advocating positive school climates.

Having experienced the challenges of educator burnout and inadequate support systems firsthand, I am committed to creating sustainable and supportive environments for teachers. I champion the *Teachers-First Approach*, which prioritizes the growth and well-being of all education workers to build a thriving educational ecosystem. This approach is rooted in promoting self-awareness, work-life balance, collaborative community culture, teacher autonomy, and providing customized professional development to address the diverse needs of educators.

The Teachers-First Approach
Imagine an educational landscape where teachers are empowered to lead with passion and resilience. The *Teachers-First Approach* advocates for a paradigm shift, focusing on educators' development and well-being. In an era where burnout threatens our educational systems, this approach offers a transformative solution.

The goal is to turn burnout into brilliance through personalized support, promoting self-awareness and growth, and creating a sustainable, supportive environment that allows teachers to excel and thrive. Together, we can create a culture where educators are valued and empowered to make a meaningful impact. Join me in making this vision a reality—one step at a time.

Let’s build a future where every educator feels supported, valued, and ready to inspire the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we’ll turn challenges into opportunities and forge a brighter, more resilient educational landscape.
